One Killed, One Hospitalized In Separate Midday Maryland Shootings Within Two Hours
A pair of brazen midday shootings that happened back-to-back in Baltimore, leaving one dead, are under investigation, officials said. First, at 11:42 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, members of the Baltimore Police Department’s Eastern Division were called to the 2600 block of East Chase Street to investigate a reported Shot Spotter alert for gunshots in the area. Three people were shot by an unknown gunman who remains at large following a night of violence in Baltimore, police say. Shortly before 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, members of the Baltimore Police Department's Southern District responded to the 3600 block of 5th Street for a reported shooting. DC Woman Arrested After Being Found Armed With Blood-Soaked Knife
A Washington D.C. woman has been arrested after police found her armed with a knife covered in blood, authorities say. Trayanna Huntley, 30, was taken into custody following reports of a stabbing after a stabbing victim checked herself into the hospital around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, according to Anne Arundel County police. Huntley allegedly stabbed the victim in the 600 block of Admiral Drive.
