Student Sexually Assaulted During Disturbance At Maryland Middle School, Sheriff Says
A student at a Maryland middle school was inappropriately touched during an incident last week, according to a Charles County Sheriff's Office spokesperson. There was a reported "disturbance" between students inside John Hanson Middle School on Wednesday, Oct. 11, which required intervention by staff members and the sheriff's School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to the building. Students in Charles County did not make it easy for the police officers assigned to their buildings on Thursday. A School Resource Officer (SRO) at Thomas Stone High School was assaulted shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, as he attempted to break up a group of students who were threatening physical harm to another teen. HS Principals Put Football Teams In Penalty Box After Friday Night Lights Melee In Maryland
The game will not go on for a pair of high school football teams in Maryland after a benches-clearing brawl broke out late in Friday night’s game.
