Launch Of 3 NASA Rockets Could Be Visible During Total Solar Eclipse
What a day for outer space. NASA will be launching three sounding rockets during the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, to study how Earth’s upper atmosphere is affected when sunlight momentarily dims over a portion of the planet. And they are expected to be visible for between 10 and 40 seconds along the East Coast. The truck driver arrested in connection to the 2006 murder of a woman found near a Frederick County rest stop may have been a serial killer, state police are cautioning. Maryland State Police investigators are seeking possible leads regarding White Springs, Florida resident Garry Artman, 64, who was on the run for nearly 20 years before being apprehended in September 2022 for his role in the murder of Dusty Shuck. Maryland AG Reaches Massive Settlement with Google Over Location Tracking Practices
Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh has announced that his Consumer Protection Division as well as 39 other attorneys general have reached a $391.5 million multi-state settlement with Google over its location tracking practices relating to Google Account settings. The settlement will also require Google to make it easier for consumers to manage their privacy settings when using Google products, according to Frosh. The top 10 US states with the highest divorce rate, revealed that Washington, DC has the highest divorce rate in the nation, according to a new study by Texas Divorce Laws. The District of Columbia is first with almost 21% divorce rate despite the lower married population.
