Tipsters who spotted a group stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a beauty store in Southern Maryland are being credited with helping members of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office apprehend five theft suspects, officials say. Passengers of the first ever seaplane to DC can cut travel time by up to 60 percent, according to Tailwind Air. As of Tuesday, Sept. 13, tickets for this plane will start at $345 and flights take off six days a week, up to twice a day, the website said. "Travelers may now enjoy a nonstop seaplane flight directly from Manhattan’s Skyport Marina at East 23rd Street to Washington, DC’s College Park Airport. Armed Maryland Officer Suspended In NYC Nightclub Fight, Police Say
A Prince George’s County Police officer was suspended without pay following his arrest outside of a New York City nightclub, authorities say. First Class Officer Aaron Holliday was off-duty at the time of the incident that occurred at the Manhattan nightclub on Tuesday, June 14, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
