Teen Killed In Two-Car Lexington Park Crash: Sheriff
A teenager was killed and a second victim was airlifted to a Maryland hospital after crashing at a busy St. Mary’s County intersection on Tuesday, June 14. Great Mills resident Robert Proctor, Jr., 15, was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Route 235 near the intersection of Hermanville Road in Lexington Park shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday when his vehicle was struck. An off-duty deputy from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office witnessed the crash, according to Jason Babcock, the Civilian Public Information Officer for the agency, and called it in to the agency.
