Two Murders Reported Within Five Hours In Baltimore, Police Say Baltimore Detectives are investigating two separate homicides that occurred within hours of each other overnight, authorities say. Police received the first call around 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, for a Shot Spotter alert in the 1200 block of East Preston Street, according to Baltimore Police. Upon arrival, detectives found an unresponsive 32-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Baltimore Officer Follows Smoke Cloud, Discovers Fatal Crash One is dead after a vehicle erupted into flames following a crash in Baltimore, authorities say. The victim was found after an officer on patrol noticed smoke in the 1500 block of East Preston Street around 2:20 p.m., Sunday, July 31, according to Baltimore police. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a vehicle engulfed in flames under trees and shrubs, police said.  The operator of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene by medics a short time later. Woman Injured After Attack In Baltimore: Police A suspect has been arrested after allegedly cutting a woman in Baltimore, authorities say. A 24-year-old female victim was found suffering from lacerations on the 2800 block of East Preston Street around 12:23 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, according to Baltimore Police. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries. The suspect, a 25-year-old woman, had allegedly cut the victim during a physical fight. She was arrested on the scene.
