Motorcyclist Killed By Driver Making U-Turn In Lexington Park: Sheriff A motorcyclist was killed and a woman was hospitalized after crashing in St. Mary’s County on Thursday afternoon, according to authorities. Lexington Park resident Jake Alexander Garrett, 28, was killed after being ejected from his motorcycle when Christine Elizabeth Bowling, 38, of Hollywood, failed to yield the right of way to him. Investigators say that shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, officers were called to the area of Three Notch Road and East Rennell Avenue in Lexington Park to investigate the fatal crash.
