Woman Robbed, Assaulted At Gunpoint On Rt. 495 In Prince George's County: Maryland State Police A woman was robbed and assaulted at gunpoint on Route 495 in Maryland early Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, state police said. It happened on the outer loop in Prince George’s County around 2:30 a.m. The woman saw a dark passenger vehicle following her while she was driving on Route 1 near Ikea Way. The suspect vehicle then struck the woman’s vehicle as they entered the outer loop of Route 495 from Route 1, state police said. Hyattsville Woman Struck, Killed By Car The victim who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Chillum has been identified as a Hyattsville woman, authorities said. Maria Quinteros, 57, was struck by a SUV heading eastbound on East-West Highway near Riggs Road around 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, according to the Prince George's Police Department. Police arrived to find Quinteros in the roadway and she was subsequently transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
