Neighbors in St. Mary's County reportedly gave a helping hand to firefighters overnight when a blaze broke out in a Mechanicsville home. First responders were called to the 40300 block of Wolfe Drive, when a fire broke out in the second floor of a residence, with flames rapidly spreading. One person died at an area hospital following an early morning house fire in Baltimore County on Sunday morning. Randallstown resident Darris Chandis Lilly, 38, has been identified by officials as the person who was rushed to the hospital following the two-alarm fire in the 4200 block of Wards Chapel Road, where he later died from injuries sustained in the blaze. The manhunt for a missing 69-year-old woman had a happy ending this week after rescuers found her in the woods less than a mile from her home.
