The child was found by officers on Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the 5100 block of Cedgate Road, where he reportedly fell, suffering head, neck, and back injuries, according to officials. It is alleged that the child’s mother left him at home with other children while she ran errands. The condition of the child was not immediately available on Thursday, Oct. 13. Less than an hour later, authorities received reports of a triple shooting just a few miles away.  The first shooting happened in the 5500 block of Plainview Avenue around 6:30 p.m. when a gunman approached a group of four men sitting outside a house and opened fire, Baltimore Police Major Steve Hohman told news cameras. Three People Injured In Afternoon Northeast Baltimore Shooting: Police Three people have been hospitalized following an afternoon shooting in Northeast Baltimore, authorities said.  Police responded to the shooting in the 3500 block of Bel Air Road around 3:43 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, Baltimore Police said.  Upon arrival, officers found two 30-year-old men and one 51-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Each were taken to local hospitals for treatment, police said.  Witnesses reported seeing the suspect shooter standing at the corner of Bel Air Road and Pelham Avenue, police added. 38-Year-Old Hospitalized In Morning Northeast Baltimore Shooting: Police A 38-year-old man is in the hospital following a morning shooting in Northeast Baltimore, authorities said.  Police responded to reported shooting at the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and East 33rd Street just after 7 a.m. on Friday, April 1, Baltimore Police said. However, the man, who was suffering from a gunshot wound, was found in the 1200 block of East 36th Street. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
