Moped Rider Killed Crashing Into Tractor-Trailer On I-495 In Prince George's County
Traffic was tied up for miles on I-495 in Prince George's County on Friday afternoon when a moped rider was killed after crashing into a tractor-trailer. With travelers hitting the road for the long Labor Day Weekend, traffic came to a half in the southbound lanes of the interstate near MD Route 295 as Maryland State Police investigated the fatal crash. A 17-year-old boy is dead in an early morning fatal pedestrian crash in Baltimore County, authorities said. Initial investigation revealed Kingdavid Okolo, of Cockeysville, ran into the road for unknown reasons when they were struck by a tractor-trailer, Maryland State Police said.
