Police say that they have arrested a man who is accused of killing a beloved Prince George’s County teacher who was reported missing from Greenbelt in late July. Harold Francis Landon III, of University Park, has been arrested in connection to the murder of 59-year-old Mariame Sylla, a third grade teacher at the Dora Kennedy French Immersion School. More than a dozen police officers in Prince George’s County are facing charges for alleged misconduct in office and multiple theft charges, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 25. The Prince George's Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying several suspects wanted for vandalizing a police cruiser over the weekend in Laurel.
