Teen Speaks Out After Cop Sentenced For Choking, Striking Him In Prince George's County
A former top cop in Prince George’s County will spend time behind bars with some of the men he helped put away for assaulting a teen while he was handcuffs, State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy announced this week. Former Prince George’s County Police Cpl. Darryl Wormuth, 45, was sentenced by a judge to five years with all but 45 days suspended after he was convicted in early May of second-degree assault and misconduct in office for an incident nearly three years ago.
