Reckless Endangerment Incident Under Investigation Following Midday Maryland Shooting A midday weekend shooting is under investigation in Maryland after a vehicle was struck several times, officials said. In Lexington Park, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, to reports of shots fired in the 4600 block of Midway Drive. Upon arrival, investigators said that they located multiple shell casings and a vehicle that had sustained damage from projectiles.
