Suspect Wanted In Prince George's After Shooting 17-Year-Old In Hyattsville: Police

A teenager is recovering after being shot in the hand in Hyattsville, authorities say.

An unidentified suspect allegedly shot the teen around 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 27 in the 2900 block of Belcrest Center Drive, according to Hyattsville police.

The teen victim was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police continue.

The suspect was described by investigators as being a man around 6 feet tall, who was wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

Police say the suspect may have driven away from the scene in an older-model silver sedan that was parked at the Sunoco on the corner of East-West Highway and Belcrest Road.
