Joshua Black, 30, committed several sexually inappropriate acts against two separate female students within 48 hours of each other, UMPD said.

The first reported incident happened just before 10 a.m. on Monday, April 4 where a female student told campus police Black inappropriately touched her in the McKeldin Library, police said.

After identifying Black as the suspect in this assault, another student informed UMPD that Black also sexually assaulted her two days prior.

The victim claimed Black unlawfully touched her while she was walking near Harford Hall around 4:35 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. Neither victim reported physical injuries, police said.

Black is also not a UMD student and has been denied access to the campus following his arrest. He is facing multiple charges stemming from both incidents, police said.
