Maryland Man Fought For Weeks Before Succumbing To Injuries After Violent Car Crash

A Fort Washington man who fought for his life for nearly a month after a vehicle crash has died, authorities confirm.

Emeka Nwokekeh, 75, died on Sunday, Jan. 1, after sustaining injuries in the crash that occurred in the 4500 block of Silver Hill Road in the early morning hours of Dec. 8, 2022, according to Prince George's County Police.

Investigation revealed that Nwokekeh was traveling northbound on Silver Hill Road when he ran off the road and struck a utility pole for unknown reasons.
