Double Shooting In Prince George's County Stairwell Leaves One Dead, Another Injured: Police

A man was killed and another was taken to a hospital after a double shooting Wednesday night in Prince George’s County, authorities said.

The PGPD said officers responded to a building on the 3700 block of Donnell Drive at about 8:45 p.m. and found Davon Brooks, 29, of Camp Springs, with multiple gunshot wounds in the stairwell. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second victim was found and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The investigation is being led by Homicide Unit detectives. No suspect or motive is known at this time. 

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
