Rising Maryland Boxer Anwar Wingate Murdered In DC Parking Garage: 'Horrified' The murder of a 24-year-old Maryland boxer in Washington DC has left loved ones horrified. Anwar Wingate was found suffering gunshot wounds in a parking garage on the 2100 block of 8th Street Sunday, Nov. 19, DC police said. The 24-year-old Forestville resident, who appears to be 2-0 in his professional boxing career, died at the scene.  Wingate's dad told NBC Washington his son made a bad choice. $4,000 Reward Offered To Identify Suspect In Baltimore Double Shooting Police are offering a $4,000 reward to help identify a suspect believed to be connected to double shooting that occurred earlier this month in Baltimore, authorities say. Two men were allegedly shot by the suspect in the 800 block of Harford Court around 9:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, according to Baltimore police. Anyone with any identifying information about the suspect or additional information about the shooting is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-756-2587.

20-Year-Old DC Man Dies After Walking Into Hospital With Gunshot Wound: Police A 20-year-old man shot in Northwest Washington DC died moments after walking into a hospital, authorities said. Jahmeze Williams, of Southeast, DC, was said to be shot in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest, around 10 p.m on Tuesday, May 24, Metropolitan Police said.  When officers arrived at the scene, no victims were located. Instead they learned that Williams had checked himself into a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
