Sheriff Investigating Fatal One-Car Crash In Maryland Police have released the name of a 52-year-old man who was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Charles County over the holiday weekend. Nanjemoy resident John Walter Knott was killed in the crash shortly before 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 2 near the intersection of Poorhouse Road and Glasgow Lane in Port Tobacco, officials said on Tuesday, July 5.
