Arlington Cemetery Bomb Threat Halts Funeral Services A bomb threat halted funeral services at the Arlington National Cemetery for hours on Friday, Sept. 8. The cemetery was evacuated as teams from multiple law enforcement agencies investigated around 9 a.m. Up to 30 funerals a day are held on weekdays at the cemetery, where hearses lined up awaiting the all-clear.
