Police ID 17-Year-Old Killed Crashing Into Maryland Woods Police have identified the Riverdale teen who was killed after crashing into a wooded area in Maryland on Friday morning, Feb. 23. The crash occurred on the 7900 block of Kenilworth Avenue in Greenbelt around 8:40 a.m. Erson Cruz, 17, was driving southbound when his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a patch of woods. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is being led by the Prince George’s County Police Department.
