Reginald Dunlap, 45, was found guilty on Monday, March 13, after the violent slaying of his wife, 40-year-old Lauren Charles, in March 2021, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. Human Skeletal Remains Found By Hunters In Cecil County Woods: State Police Maryland State Police detectives have launched an investigation after human skeletal remains were found in a wooded area in Cecil County. Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, police say that troopers from the North East Barrack received a call from two hunters in a wooded area near Mountain Hill Road and Route 7 in Perryville regarding the remains. Officials say that the hunters found possible human remains along with a firearm, clothing, and jewelry. Trail Of Blood Shows Shooting Victim's Path From 7-Eleven To Apartment In Takoma Park A trail of blood from a shooting victim found at a 7-Eleven in Takoma Park led back to the suspected scene of the crime, authorities say. On Tuesday, Dec. 27 around 2:21 a.m., a man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 1300 block of University Boulevard dripping in blood from a gunshot wound to his leg, Takoma Park police say. The victim was able to be rushed to a hospital to be treated, and a trail of blood was located and followed to an apartment in the 7800 block of Kennewick Avenue.  Police say that the entrance door to the apartment revealed signs of forced entry. Police ID Driver Shot In I-95 Shooting Maryland State Police have identified the driver killed in an Interstate 95 shooting last month. Charles Harrison Marks, IV, 42, of Pasadena, was heading north near Route 100 in Elkridge when he was struck by gunfire through the driver's side window around 3:40 p.m. Jan. 30, police said. He was rushed to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center where he continues to receive treatment for injuries sustained during the incident.
