Police ID Pedestrian Killed By Prius Driver In Montgomery County A 61-year-old man has died at an area hospital after being struck by the driver of a Toyota Prius in Montgomery County, authorities say. Sidney Cardoso Sr. has been identified by police as the Silver Spring man who was killed after being hit by a woman as he was crossing New Hampshire Avenue near Bonifant Road. The incident was reportedly shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5 in Colesville.
