Shooting In Montgomery County Now Being Investigated As Homicide, Police Say (Developing)

A death investigation has been launched after a man died from his injuries following a shooting on Monday morning in Montgomery County, police say.

Officers were called shortly before noon on Aug. 12 to the 19300 block of Clubhouse Road in Montgomery Village, where there was a reported shooting with one man down in the area.

An hour later, the Montgomery County Department of Police announced that the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

No suspect has been apprehended.

More information is expected to be released.
