City resident Jewel Crowder, 40, has been arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of 23-year-old Deputy Ryan Alexandr Demby, authorities announced. Victor Shuron is accused of shooting the victim on the 1000 block of South Charles Street, following a dispute inside of a restaurant around 4 p.m. May 13, city police said. Police responded for the reported shooting in the 500 block of South Charles Street around 2 p.m. on Friday, March 18, Baltimore City Police said.  Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified 18-year-old male and 20-year-old Akinlana Weathers both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.  Both were taken to local hospitals for treatment, where Weathers died later in the day.
