A man was left with life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Anne Arundel County on Monday evening, March 18, police said. Officers were patrolling near the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn around 6:05 p.m. when they were approached by the 31-year-old victim, who had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound to the torso. An Anne Arundel County homeowner got an unexpected surprise when she answered a knock on her door and was greeted by a home invader armed with an unknown substance, according to officials. Officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were called around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday to the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn to investigate a reported home invasion robbery. An unidentified suspect is on the run after allegedly stabbing a stranger near a Severn elementary school, authorities say.
