Trooper Stabbed, Suspect Shot During Altercation In Maryland: State Police Shots were fired over the weekend in Southern Maryland when a man attacked two state police troopers with a knife, authorities say. Anthony Oliveras, Jr., 22, of Hollywood, was arrested following an incident that played out in the 44000 block of West Marvell Court.  Police say that troopers were called to the area to assist a possibly suicidal person.  As a veteran trooper and recent graduate from the Academy approached the home, where they were met by Oliveras, who had ill intentions.
