An 18-year-old has become the latest to be arrested in connection to the 2023 murder of Marcus Anthony Day in Great Mills, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday. Bushwood resident Tavion Kelly Sommerville was arrested on an open warrant for his role in the murder of Day on Thursday, April 4, 2023. Three people already behind bars have been are facing new charges for their alleged roles in the murder of a beloved 26-year-old man earlier this year outside Sheetz in St. Mary's County. Authorities announced over the weekend that James Jerome Adams, Jr., a minor from Great Mills, and an adult from Bushwood who was a juvenile at the time, have been indicted and charged as adults in connection to the murder of Marcus Anthony Day in April.
