A crash on the Inner Loop on I-695 left some travelers in Northern Maryland tied up in traffic on Wednesday morning as first responders cleared the scene of a single-car crash in Baltimore County. At around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, motorists were still struggling to get by on I-695 in Woodlawn after a crash blocked at least one lane and the shoulder near I-70, causing traffic to back up. One person was killed and two others were airlifted to area hospitals following a fatal crash in Charles County on Monday morning. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, a Dodge Durango was driving on US Route 301 near MD Route 234 when the driver struck an embankment and overturned the truck, state police say. First responders were called to the scene, and a passenger in the Durango was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. A crash involving seven vehicles and at least one entrapment jammed traffic along Interstate 70 in Howard County Tuesday, March 15, according to developing reports.
