DC Pedestrian, 66, Struck And Killed: Police A 66-year-old man has died following a pedestrian-involved crash in Washington DC, authorities said.  Clinton Covington, of Northwest, DC, was struck while crossing the street in the 5300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northeast, around 9:48 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, Metropolitan Police said. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Initial investigation showed that a Toyota Prius was traveling southbound when the vehicle hit Covington, police said. MPD confirmed to Daily Voice the driver stayed at the scene of the crash. Good Samaritans rushed over to the woman after she fell eight stories from a building on the 4500 block of Connecticut Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, police said in a press briefing.
