Fernando Calix, 38, and Christian Alexander Gonzalez, 18, have been arrested following an incident that played out in Safeway on Connecticut Avenue in Kensington when they pulled a knife on a security guard attempting to stop them from stealing. Members of the Montgomery County Department of Police were called to the 10500 block of Connecticut Avenue earlier this week to investigate a reported armed robbery involving the pair. …

Silver Spring Man Charged Months After Crash That Killed Beloved Grandmother: Police A Silver Spring man has been arrested in a Kensington crash that killed a 72-year-old grandmother last November, authorities said. Gustavo Santos Campos, 42, was charged in the crash that left Michaele Anne Belford dead on Nov. 16, 2021, Montgomery County Police said.
