Fugitive Shooter Gets Life For Killing Sheriff's Deputy In MD During Police Pursuit
The man who was convicted of the 2022 murder of a sheriff's deputy in Maryland will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Austin Davidson, formerly of Delmar, was sentenced on Thursday to life without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 66 years, for the fatal shooting of beloved father and Wicomico County Sheriff's Cpl. Glenn Hilliard in Pottsville last summer. The 22-year-old was found guilty on multiple murder and other charges in May.
