Maryland Couple Killed In NJ Crash An elderly pair from Maryland was killed in a crash Tuesday evening, June 13 in Highland Park, authorities said. A Mercedes driven by Abeer Viriani, 34, of Iselin, struck a Subaru occupied by Peter Palmer, 75, of Easton, MD, and Carol Paul, 77, of Easton, MD, around 5:30 p.m. at Route 27 and North 10 Street, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Case Of Boy's Ocean City Hit-Run Death Cracked Ten months after a 14-year-old boy was struck and killed in Ocean City, a defendant has been charged. Tyler Mailloux, 22, of Berlin, is facing more than a dozen charges out of Worcester County in the July 2022 hit-and-run death of Gavin Knupp on Grays Corner Road while walking to his sister's car.  Gavin was pronounced dead at the hospital.
