Trader Joe's is recalling Infinite Herbs-brand organic basil that was sold across the country in 2.5-ounce clamshell packaging due to concerns of Salmonella contamination. The USDA has issued a warning to consumers after rocks were found inside a prepackaged chicken meal from Trader Joe's. The ready-to-eat chicken 14-ounce packages are labeled as "Trader Joe's Chicken, Lentil and Caramelized Onion Pilaf with Saffron Basmati Rice, Dark Chicken Meat, Dates, and Golden Raisins." Two new recalls have been issued for products at grocery store chain Trader Joe’s because of the possible presence of foreign material. The company said it has been alerted by its supplier of Trader Joe’s Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup (SKU# 68470) that products with use-by dates between 07/18/23 – 09/15/23 may contain insects. A company has issued a recall for various frozen food products sold at Costco, Aldi, Trader Joe's, and other businesses due to a hepatitis outbreak. Scenic Fruit Company said it is recalling frozen organic strawberries sold at Costco and Aldi, and frozen organic tropical blend sold to Trader Joe’s due to an outbreak of Hepatitis A illnesses. Trader Joe's is coming to Prince George's. The neighborhood grocery chain announced earlier this month they have selected a ground-level location in College Park at 4429 Calvert Road. Trader Joe's is a national grocery store chain focused on bringing a diverse range of items at the best prices possible to neighborhood shoppers. The College Park location will be the 10th location opened in Maryland. An opening date has not yet been announced.
