New Forecast: Increased Snowfall Totals Expected, Arctic Temps To Follow Northeast Storm
Newly-released forecast maps show parts of the region could see up to six inches of snow in the end-of-week storm. Intermittent snow is expected to begin between 4 and 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, with the heaviest amounts falling in the afternoon, the National Weather Service said. A teenager is recovering in Northern Maryland after being shot and airlifted to an area hospital overnight, according to a spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, deputies responded to the 1300 block of Harford Square Drive in Edgewood, where there was a reported shooting involving a minor. A York County, PA robber was caught by US Marshals in Northern Maryland — three months after a second child told authorities they were sexually abused by him.
