Man Who Killed Teen Fearing For His Life, Family, Sentenced For Maryland Shooting: Prosecutors
A 24-year-old man implicated in the 2021 murder of a teenager who "feared for his life" and began living with friends to protect his family may spend the rest of his life behind bars, according to the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office. Tyree Ronell Deangelo Haynes has been sentenced to life in prison, with all but 40 years suspended following the murder of 17-year-old Malakai Cooke in April 2021, prosecutors announced on Thursday.
