Former City College Lax Player Killed Changing Tire In Apparent Hit-Run Crash In VA: Reports
A 20-year-old airman was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while changing a tire on Interstate 295 in Virginia early this week, authorities said.
Makai Cummings' body was found on the roadway in Hanover County just after 2 a.m. Monday, May 8, Virginia State Police said in a news release.
The vehicle that struck him fled the scene, authorities said.
