Pedestrian Death Toll Rises After Construction Worker Hit By Car On Dangerous Maryland Highway
Another pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on Indian Head Highway in Fort Washington, authorities confirm. Huerta Melendez, 56, was fatally struck by a car around 11 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11 while working on a roadway construction site on Indian Head Highway near Kerby Hill Road after a vehicle drove through a closed section of roadway, according to Prince George's County police.
