Traffic Delayed On I-95 For Dump Truck Crash Under Maryland Overpass

Some lanes were blocked on I-95 in Northern Maryland in advance of Tuesday's afternoon commute following a crash involving a dump truck and vehicle under a busy bridge in Harford County.

First responders from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Abington Fire Department were called before 2:30 p.m. on May 14 to a stretch of the northbound lanes of the interstate under the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway to investigate the crash.

According to Harford County Fire and EMS officials, the crash involved a passenger vehicle and dump truck under the overpass (MD-24) just pass exit 77 on I-95.

One person was treated for undisclosed injuries, though traffic was temporarily delayed on Tuesday morning. The crash remains under investigation.
