Barricaded Man Killed Confronting Maryland State Police SWAT Team During Standoff
One person was killed over the weekend during a standoff that played out in Carroll County, according to the Maryland Attorney General’s Office. The situation began at approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, when state police troopers were called to a home in the 1200 block of Liberty Road in Eldensburg to assist a suicidal man who was allegedly under the influence.
