A man accused of rape and assault was arrested while driving in an unauthorized part of the Baltimore Airport over the weekend. Wilfredo Pineda, 27, of Silver Spring, was stopped by an MDTA officer while driving a silver Dodge Ram on the inner roadway of the upper level of the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13. A second suspect has been arrested in Maryland following a lengthy investigation into a May bank robbery in Anne Arundel County, authorities announced. Cambridge resident Jamaar Cornish, 34, was arrested on Thursday, July 7, according to the Annapolis Police Department, which has been investigating the robbery of Wells Fargo in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road earlier this year. An Annapolis Corrections Officer who allegedly had a history of sexual contact with an inmate has been arrested, authorities say. Tajudeen Olarotimi Durodoye, 55, of Glen Burnie was arrested on Thursday, July 7 after an investigation into sexual contact allegations was made back in June, Anne Arundel County Police say. Police were advised of a possible sex offense between Durodoye and an inmate on Thursday, June 16, prompting an investigation. Durodoyle has been charged accordingly, officials said. A detention center employee has been arrested after accusations of being sexually involved with an inmate in Annapolis, officials say.
