Deon Watkins will never see the light of day again after a judge sentenced him to two life sentences without the possibility of parole for murdering a pair of women in Maryland, the Charles County State's Attorney's Office announced. The Maryland Attorney General’s Office released its investigative report into a fatal police-involved pursuit in Charles County earlier this year. Shortly after 4 a.m. on Friday, March 11, officers from the Charles County Sheriff's Office received a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 3900 block of Pine Cone Circle in Waldorf involving a driver later identified as Darrell Byrd, who was no longer at the scene.
