Pedestrian Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Montgomery County, Police Say

One person was killed and a driver is at large following an early-morning crash involving a pedestrian in Montgomery County on Monday, according to police.

The fatal early-morning crash remains under investigation.

An investigation was launched after a pedestrian was fatally struck shortly after 1:15 a.m. on June 3 in the 1000 block of University Boulevard in Takoma Park, investigators say.

The driver then fled the scene and has not been located.

It is now being investigated by the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
