Investigators from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are fearful there are more victims at Westlake High School after a male student allegedly groped a girl last week and is allegedly a repeat offender. On Monday, Feb. 27, school administrators at the high school were made aware that a student had allegedly inappropriately touched two female classmates earlier this year following an investigation into a similar case reported early last week. School officials in Charles County got quite a scare on Tuesday morning when they spotted a suspicious package outside of the Berry Elementary and Mattawoman Middle School campus. Members of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office were called to school grounds at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7 to investigate the package, which was located as students were arriving to class. The man who murdered an innocent teenager walking through his neighborhood to his Charles County home has been apprehended in North Carolina, the sheriff’s office announced.
