Maryland Children Arrested After Using Replica Gun To Carjack Rideshare Driver
Two young boys were arrested after an armed carjacking of a rideshare driver in Temple Hills over the weekend, authorities say. The rideshare driver was reportedly carjacked at gunpoint by the 14-year-old boys in the 6400 block of Gifford Drive around 12:20 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, according to Prince George's County police. The victim called 911 following the attack, prompting the investigation. Investigators say that the victim had just picked up the two boys when they both pulled out guns and demanded her car. Wanted Maryland Man Apprehended After Carjacking Rideshare Driver, State Police Say
A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to the carjacking of a rideshare driver earlier this month, authorities say. Treverrick Jamal Robinson, 24, was wanted for armed carjacking and related offenses and was arrested by Maryland State Police and US Marshals on Friday, Aug. 19 in the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive, according to Maryland State Police.
