Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services personnel were called at around 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon on the Intercounty Connector between Layhill Road and New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring, where there was a massive crash that left at least one car on its roof. Jhasir Devaux, 25, was sentenced on Friday, Nov. 4 after being convicted on one count of robbery after stealing $4,780 from the Sandy Spring Bank on Layhill Road on Aug. 7, 2019, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office.
