Worker Killed By Dump Truck In Work Zone Crash On I-95, State Police Say (Updated) There was a fatal pedestrian crash in a work zone along I-95 in Harford County on Tuesday morning, state police say. Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, troopers were called to the southbound lanes of the interstate near the Maryland 152 overpass in Joppa, where there was a crash involving a pedestrian and dump truck. According to the preliminary investigation, a dump truck in the work zone was backing up with it struck a worker. Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Prince George's County Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal pedestrian crash in Palmer Park, authorities say. Jackie Monroe, 53, was attempting to cross the 8000 block of Barlowe Road when he was struck by a vehicle around 10:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.  Initial investigation revealed that Monroe was not in the crosswalk when the westbound vehicle him, investigators noted, adding that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the fatal collision.
