The Bowie Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal hit and run collision incident involving a pedestrian in Prince George’s County shortly after 11 pm. on Thursday, Aug. 11 on Collington Road near the intersection of John Hanson Highway. A 42-year-old pedestrian was killed in Maryland after being struck by an SUV near a busy St. Mary’s County intersection, authorities announced. Leonardtown resident Joseph Harry Norris IV, 42, was struck and killed by a woman from Mechanicsville as he was crossing Point Lookout Road on Friday, July 29, according to the sheriff's office. Pedestrian Dies Following Crash In Maryland: State Police
A 33-year-old Maryland man is dead after being struck by a teen driver in Worcester County, state police announced. Bishopville resident Daniel Hicken died from injuries sustained in a crash shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, when he was struck in the area of Route 50 and the Harry Kelley Bridge by Levittown, PA resident Anthony Capriotti, Jr, 19, in Worcester County, officials said.
