It didn't take crews from the North East Fire Company to get the blaze under control but the damage had already been done to the Razor Strap Road home in North East, which was gutted by the flames. Cecil County Firefighter Killed In Ocean City While At Firemen's Convention A volunteer firefighter in Maryland was killed in Ocean City while attending the annual Maryland State Fireman’s Association convention, officials confirmed. Elkton resident Noah Day, 22, a lieutenant with the North East Fire Company in Cecil County, was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the Coastal Highway on Monday, June 20.
